In a world where cyber incidents are becoming increasingly common, it’s crucial to arm yourself and your organisation against these threats. Vanbreda’s Cyber Security Workshop is designed to help you boost your cyber defences and prepare for possible cyber attacks.
Cyber crime is a serious matter that should not be taken lightly. Some statistics underline this point :
As cyber threats continue to evolve, so does the legislation that protects us against these risks. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has already raised the bar for the protection of personal data within the EU, while the Network and Information Systems Directive (NIS2) focuses on increasing the cyber resilience of essential services and digital service providers. These regulations require organisations not only to be proactive in their cyber defences, but also to meet strict compliance requirements.
Vanbreda’s Cyber Security Workshop is specifically designed both to arm your organisation against cyber attacks and to ensure that you are fully in line with these new legislative standards.
Prevention and education are clearly crucial to countering these cyber threats. By learning from incidents experienced by others, you can strengthen your own cyber defences. Run by knowledgeable security experts, our workshop presents realistic scenarios based on more than 300 cyber incidents.
We offer a session designed to meet your organisation’s specific needs, with participants from various business levels. We have two formulas available.

In 2024, Vanbreda Risk & Benefits, Belgium’s largest insurance broker, recorded one new cyber incident at Belgian businesses every week. This represents an increase on the previous year of no less than 64%. Although most of these incidents cost no more than 20,000 euros, 4% of businesses lost more than 1 million euros due to downtime. These figures show that cyber attacks are a growing risk for businesses, and the food industry is no exception.
Cyber attacks are hitting Belgian businesses harder than ever: Vanbreda Risk & Benefits, the country’s largest insurance broker, recorded one new cyber incident every week last year.
